Deciding to seek treatment is a big step, and while it’s a positive choice, it usually comes with some trepidation.
You’re not sure exactly what to expect. At Willow Healing Center, our primary goal is to provide our patients with an opportunity for healing and recovery. Whether it’s through our workshops, integrative therapies, support groups, scheduled downtime, or holistic activities, our entire program has been created with the goal of healing your trauma and providing you with the tools to transform your life.
Picking up the phone can be scary, but our specially trained intake coordinators are here to help you on your way toward a more healthy and productive life. When you call, they will lead you through a series of questions to determine if Willow Healing Center at The Meadows is a good fit and how soon your treatment can begin.
During that first call, we’ll gather some basic information that includes:
Long before your arrival, the Willow Healing Center staff is working with your intake team to review your information, determine the appropriate care, and prepare a program that will best meet your unique needs.
Taking that first step is hard, but there’s a new life of health and hope just waiting for you at the other end of the phone line.
Throughout the course of a day, a patient will attend a variety of lectures, workshops, therapies, and treatments in a combination of individual and group settings. Patients have a structured weekly schedule with time blocked out for different activities throughout each day.
Before breakfast, patients have time for exercise and daily hygiene. Breakfast is followed by a daily meditation, peer meetings, and group therapy. During the week, patients participate in different group therapies and spirituality practices before lunch.
The afternoon is filled with topic groups, appointments, fitness and recreational activities, and meetings with the staff and Senior Fellows. Throughout the week, patients have the opportunity to attend different lectures and experiences, depending on their treatment needs.
Patients have structured meal times and opportunities to connect with peers and staff during meals. Evenings include independent time, followed by meditation and 12-Step programs.
