WHEN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD OR YOUR BODY NO LONGER FEELS IN YOUR CONTROL
WHEN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD OR YOUR BODY NO LONGER FEELS IN YOUR CONTROL
Eating disorders are often about more than food. For many women, they are deeply connected to emotional pain, trauma, control, and self-worth. What may begin as a way to cope can become a pattern that feels difficult to change alone.
We support women experiencing a range of eating disorder–related challenges, including:
At Willow Healing Center, we provide residential treatment for women navigating eating disorders and disordered eating, whether these challenges are primary or part of a more complex set of emotional and mental health concerns.
Willow Healing Center is home to our only residential eating disorder program for women, fully integrated within a trauma-focused, women-only environment.
Care is individualized, allowing women to engage in both eating disorder–specific work and broader healing that supports long-term recovery.
At Willow Healing Center, eating disorder treatment is grounded in The Meadows Model, a core pillar of The Meadows Approach to Care. This trauma-focused framework addresses the root causes of emotional and behavioral patterns, supporting lasting, whole-person healing.
Healing in a women-only setting creates space for deeper work around shame, relationships, and self-worth. Many women find it easier to engage fully in treatment when they feel understood and supported by those around them. Willow provides a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment where women can begin to rebuild self-trust and reconnect with themselves.
