Eating Disorder Treatment for Women

WHEN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD OR YOUR BODY NO LONGER FEELS IN YOUR CONTROL

Eating disorders are often about more than food. For many women, they are deeply connected to emotional pain, trauma, control, and self-worth. What may begin as a way to cope can become a pattern that feels difficult to change alone.

Disordered Eating Issues We Treat

We support women experiencing a range of eating disorder–related challenges, including:

  • Eating disorders, including restrictive, binge, or compensatory patterns
  • Disordered eating behaviors and cycles
  • Body image distress and preoccupation
  • Patterns of control related to food, weight, or appearance
  • Co-occurring challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, or substance use

At Willow Healing Center, we provide residential treatment for women navigating eating disorders and disordered eating, whether these challenges are primary or part of a more complex set of emotional and mental health concerns.

A Specialized Eating Disorder Program for Women

Willow Healing Center is home to our only residential eating disorder program for women, fully integrated within a trauma-focused, women-only environment.

  • Specialized eating disorder programming tailored to each woman’s needs
  • Nutritional support and structure as part of the recovery process
  • Integration with trauma, mental health, and relational treatment
  • Access to shared therapeutic and holistic experiences within the Willow community

Care is individualized, allowing women to engage in both eating disorder–specific work and broader healing that supports long-term recovery.

Many women find it easier to engage fully in treatment when they feel understood and supported by those around them.
