Who We Are and How We Help
Willow Healing Center provides specialized care for women navigating relational and intimacy issues, substance use, eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, and co-occurring conditions. Our women-only environment creates a safe, supportive space where trauma is recognized as the foundation of many challenges, and individualized care addresses both the presenting concern and the patterns underlying it.
Part of The Meadows network and continuum of care, Willow Healing Center draws on more than four decades of experience in trauma-focused, women’s residential treatment. Building on our legacy in relational and intimacy issues, Willow Healing Center provides a broader spectrum of care for women, including trauma and PTSD, eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions. Sister programs within The Meadows network address young adult care, men’s sex addiction, and other specialized needs.
Our program is designed to meet women where they are, whether they are struggling with one concern or multiple overlapping challenges. We provide care for women experiencing:

Our Senior Fellows are among the nation’s leading experts in addiction, trauma, and recovery. They provide ongoing clinical guidance, consultation, and training to our teams, helping ensure care remains thoughtful, effective, and grounded in decades of experience.
Their collaboration supports the continued evolution of The Meadows Model, strengthening its ability to address the complex, underlying patterns that shape each woman’s experience and healing process.
The Meadows Model is a core pillar of care at Willow Healing Center, providing a structured, research-backed framework for understanding and addressing the root causes of behavioral and emotional challenges.
Key elements include:
This model empowers women to break old patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, sustainable recovery.
Willow Healing Center at the Meadows is a Level 1 inpatient unit with the ability to provide acute inpatient psychiatric care and substance detox in the acute care section of our unit. This unit has 24-hour monitoring by registered nurses and nursing staff experienced with psychiatric and detox issues. Each patient is treated with a customized plan created during the initial assessment. Different levels of care are available based on each specific need with every level administered in a safe, controlled environment.
At Willow Healing Center, our Levels of Care Include:
Willow Healing Center is a small and intimate program, allowing for the staff to truly get to know each of the patients and notice when something changes. Patients and staff work together to ensure the safety and security of all of the patients.
Family Support focuses on involving loved ones in the patient’s treatment through regular outreach and facilitated therapeutic calls. These sessions, which include the patient and their family, address topics such as boundaries, aftercare planning, and psychoeducation, helping families understand the patient’s progress and supporting healing and healthy connection.
Willow Healing Center at The Meadows is accredited by the Joint Commission and the NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) for patient safety and quality. We are also LegitScript certified, proving that we meet or exceed certain rigorous standards of care.
Our goal is for women to leave our treatment program with clarity about their inherent value and worth, feeling peaceful, confident, and healthy mentally, emotionally, and physically. By helping them to redefine their emotional trauma, change their negative self-beliefs, and gain practical skills for coping and communicating, we believe they can begin living full and meaningful lives in ways they never imagined.
